1.) What is your favorite thing about the McNair scholars’ program?

My favorite thing about the McNair Scholars Program is the community of support it creates. You have so many people rooting for you and helping you out. 

2.) Do you have any advice for someone interested in the McNair scholars’ program?

My advice for someone is to apply even if you don’t know exactly what you want to pursue in graduate school as there are so many opportunities to explore and engage with different universities and programs!

3.) What is next for you after undergrad?

My next steps are to pursue a PhD in Genetics. 

4.) Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is I’ve played the violin for seven years!
