Research Interests: My lab’s research focuses on applying bioengineering principles to build and study human tissues to accelerate therapeutic development for kidney and gynecological health. Specifically, I am developing organ-on-chip systems that replicate uterine vasculature and function to better understand uterine biology in the context of pregnancy-related conditions and menstruation, with the goal of identifying potential therapeutic strategies. Prior to my graduate studies, I have worked in the field of genome engineering, focusing on the development of gene therapies for patients of rare inherited disorders.

About Me: I am a second-year PhD student in Biomedical Engineering. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and received my B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of research, I am involved in various K-12 outreach initiatives and programs. In my free time, I like making origami, baking, and drawing—anything that lets me be a little creative.
