About Me: Hi, my name is Patrice! I’m a second year PhD student in Microbiology. My background is in fashion, chemistry and fiber science. I have experience working in industry as well as academic research, and I desire to start a biotech company to develop a more sustainable alternative to fast fashion.  In my free time, I love to write poetry, take care of my houseplants and curate creative fashion presentations. I’m looking forward to doing this mentorship journey together!
