Research Interests: Broadly, my research examines the psychological processes and adaptations of individuals in isolated, confined, and extreme environments, such as polar research stations in Antarctica and space exploration missions. I am particularly interested in studying the psychological stressors that arise from human-environment interactions in these settings, across physical, social, cognitive, and temporal dimensions, and evaluating the effectiveness of VR-based interventions in mitigating these stressors.
About Me: I am perpetually hunting for new books, especially classics, sci-fi, and international literature. I practice advanced canine appreciation (will interrupt conversations to pet dogs), attempt violin playing, and prefer studying outdoors after long walks, where I can mutter theories to wildlife. Fun fact: I involuntarily add up digits whenever I see multiple numbers: license plates, phone numbers, you name it.
