Hello! My name is Marissa Samaroo and I am a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, originally from the Bronx. I’m majoring in psychology on a pre-medical track with a focus on specializing in either neurology or emergency medicine. As a P3 member, I’ve found a strong sense of community and belonging, which has felt like a second family—one that consistently supports its members and guides them toward professional growth. The meaningful connections and invaluable resources offered through OADI are truly unmatched. Outside of campus, I’ve served as a medical scribe in the emergency department at Cayuga Medical Center, and I’ve also had the privilege of shadowing and mentoring under physicians at Weill Cornell and New York Presbyterian. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family exploring new adventures and creating many memorable moments.
