Research Interests: I am a PhD Candidate in Natural Resources and the Environment at Cornell. I draw from the fields of environmental governance and policy and environmental studies, with particular interests in community based resource management, institutional analysis, and forest governance in the Global South. My research focuses on community pathways towards Nature-based Climate solutions through fieldwork in India's Western Ghats. I teach 'Seeing the Forests for the Trees,' a course exploring how local and global perspectives interplay while addressing the most pressing issues of our time.
About Me: I come from Bangalore, a city of 14 million people. I'm passionate about public engagement and education, and love good conversations and discovering new music.
