John is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Cornell. While he has worked with writers of all backgrounds, he has extensive experience working with writing by non-native speakers of English. His favorite part of working with writers is seeing them become more confident and empowered in their ability to develop a text.

In his spare time, John enjoys climbing, golfing, and skipping rocks on Cayuga Lake (and other water spots in Ithaca).
