Why are you an ambassador?

I am an ambassador because I love being an EOP scholar. To me, being able to consistently interact with our diverse student body is an amazing experience that continues to fulfill me as a Cornell student. Coming to Cornell, I was terrified of not being able to find other students that I could relate to as a low-income first-generation student. I was also completely unaware of the resources available to me, and I had no idea what to expect. I was relieved to be fully embraced by OADI and EOP scholars as soon as I stepped foot on Cornell's campus. From that day on, I knew that I wanted to do as much as I could to make other students feel as welcome as I did.
