Daniel Imakyure is a JD candidate at Cornell Law School (’24) and Treasurer of the Cornell Law Veterans’ Association. He formerly served in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and also worked as a law enforcement officer, emergency medical technician, LSAT tutor/admissions consultant, and public school teacher. He is a summer associate with Davis Wright Tremaine in Los Angeles focusing on complex commercial litigation, and hopes to maintain a pro bono practice in capital defense and policing reform. Daniel is also an Associate Editor for the Cornell Law Review where his scholarship focuses on copyright infringement and is part of Cornell’s Capital Punishment Clinic.
