Analysia is a California native, passionate about advocation and spotlighting stories of historically underrepresented communities. As a first-generation student, Analysia earned her masters in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University and her bachelors in Communication with an emphasis in Transborder: Chicanx, Latinx, Hispanic studies and LGBT+ studies from Arizona State University. In between those degrees, she earned associate degrees in Arts & Humanities and Social & Behavioral Sciences from Golden West College. Analysia is a firm believer that higher education journeys are not one size fits all. She strives to provide holistic, individualized tailored support for her students and colleagues.
During her graduate years, Analysia served as a Resident Director for Cornell’s Pre-Freshman Summer Program, which later transitioned to the Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars Program. After working in at various colleges and university both in Southern California and New York, she returned back to Ithaca to work in Cornell’s Alumni Affairs and Development and now has joined the OADI team.
Outside of work, you can find her crafting, crocheting, and cooking. Analysia enjoys exploring the upstate area with her partner and their two gatos, Fonzie and Nomi.
