My name is Alyanis V. Acevedo Serrano and I am a sophomore studying Biology & Society in CALS. I am from Carolina, Puerto Rico. I joined OADI peer mentors because of its mission to foster a sense of belonging to students. A goal that I have for this year for mentorship is to emphasize a work-life balance and prioritize well-being by connecting with different resources around campus for mental health, academics, career goals, and others. I want to be able to bring a growth mindset thinking into every aspect of college.
