Grad Chats: Travel Health and Safety Awareness for Conducting Research Abroad

This session will provide an overview of global travel expectations and responsibilities, including key health and security risks abroad and personal security principles, as well as tips and strategies to prepare for international travel, including predeparture logistics and use of resources for assessing current geopolitical events. The session will also include a discussion of crisis management and present a crisis case study to illustrate the need for developing travel health and safety awareness for conducting research abroad.
