As an out of state student coming from the west coast, I believe being uncomfortable in new spaces means there is room for growth and discovery. I am an Animal Science major on the pre-veterinary track with a first-generation, low income background. I aspire to become a veterinarian who primarily serves underprivileged communities! I love hiking as well as playing volleyball, softball, volunteering at animal shelters and clinics and I am known to chase and rescue any stray I see.
