Let me know what was your favorite part of OADI, and favorite part about working at OADI?

My favorite part about OADI is the caring, dedicated people. Advisors and community members alike, the sense of community that OADI fosters has been instrumental to my time at Cornell. In terms of working at OADI, the best part must be contributing to that sense of community, by getting to smile and welcome everyone who walks in.

Do you have any advice for incoming or first year students?

I would tell incoming students to take advantage of the opportunities awarded to them here and to go out of their comfort zone. There’s so much one can do at Cornell, take advantage of it, and make the most of it, because it really flies by quickly. That said, never forget that kindness goes a long way. Smile to passersby, because sometimes a simple smile is enough to brighten someone’s day.

What is next for you after Cornell?

I hope to be in law school upon graduating, with the dream of being an immigration attorney, or doing some other public interest law. Wherever I go, I will continue to be an advocate for those whose voices go unheard.

Tell us one of your most important dreams or goals?

Besides being an attorney, one of my other aspirations is to travel and live elsewhere for some time. Having grown up in NY my whole life, I know there is so much more out there to see, and I cannot wait to do so.

Tell us a Fun fact about yourself!
