Research Interests: My research develops AI-powered conversational agents that enhance learning through authentic, personalized interactions. I create educational technologies that provide adaptive feedback and bridge the gap between traditional classroom instruction and scalable practice opportunities, with a particular focus on language learners who need safe environments to build confidence through repeated, deliberate practice. I investigate how to design and deploy these systems to foster language acquisition in enjoyable and equitable educational environments.

About Me: I love music and movement: I play piano and saxophone, with piano being my absolute favorite! When I'm not at the keys, you'll find me at the climbing gym or playing volleyball. I also love chess, watercolor painting, and language learning (where my research centers)!
