Research Interests : My research aims to characterize how individuals’ moral expectations, and beliefs bias their everyday decision-making. I am currently studying how moralizing real-world social issues impacts people’s motivation to take action, as well as how moral information can inform people’s aesthetic judgments. I use a combination of survey data, interactive experiments, and machine learning modeling to explore my research questions.

About Me : I am a third-year PhD student in the Department of Psychology. Before coming to Cornell, I studied psychology and philosophy in college at Duke and, after graduating, also worked for two years in research labs working on a diverse range of projects including human brain imaging as well as behavioral interventions to boost sustainable practices. My (current) hometown is Boston, but I have lived all over the United States. After hours, I will likely be found at the gym, experimenting in music production, and then attempting some ambitious new culinary recipe.
