Amara is a third-year student from Yonkers, NY. She is an aspiring entertainment attorney currently majoring in American Studies with minors in law and society, inequality studies, and theatre in the College of Arts and Sciences. Amara loves to be involved on campus outside of her position at OADI; she currently serves as the Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion for Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity, Vice President of Finance for the Dominican Student Association, Diversity & Inclusion Chair for Nothing But Treble A Cappella, and is a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar, Peer Ambassador for CAS, and a Security Intern Leader at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. Amara is also passionate about the arts and loves to perform (which is why you may hear her singing at the front desk). When she isn’t studying, working, or performing, Amara enjoys listening to R&B and soul music, taking Zumba classes, and spending time with fellow OADI Undergraduate Student Assistant Brayan.
