Each year in April, the incoming Posse Scholar class has an opportunity to visit the Cornell campus. During the visit, Posse Scholars meet with various campus partners including but not limited to the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives, The Knight Institute; Writing in the Disciplines, Learning Strategies Center, and the Latino Studies Program. Additionally, scholars will attend an induction ceremony. Posse Scholars may also have the opportunity to meet with the University President. The visit’s purpose is to give the incoming class a sense of what it is like to be a student at Cornell. Students are also encouraged to sit in on lectures and participate in campus events.
