About William

Attending Cornell is definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. The University offers not only educational opportunities but also another home to me. I have learned more about sustainability, research, and real estate through various Cornell programs. I have also contributed to the Ithaca community by performing community service. As long as you want to do something, Cornell always has something for you.  Aside from opportunities, Cornell provides the feeling of home. It is really difficult for college students, especially those of first generation like me, to begin a new life, spend at least 4 years, and thrive in the middle of nowhere with extremely harsh winters. OADI and other Cornell institutions are always there to assist students academically and personally. They have helped me familiarize with life at Cornell and Ithaca to the extent that I now consider Ithaca as one of my homes. I desire to know everything about the town, and to make it a better place for all. I would like to express my special thanks to Ms. Vanessa Lillard, an OADI counselor, for supporting me enormously even since before I was accepted to Cornell. Without her assistance, I believe I would not be able to study at such a fantastic school.
