Chris Talbot is a first-generation PhD student in the Computational Biology graduate field. As a member of Dr. Philipp Messer's lab, he uses genomic and spatial data to understand how populations adapt to sudden change through natural selection and migration. He is passionate about helping undergraduates pursue research careers and secure research funding through application coaching, mentorship, and teaching. Chris is also a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a Cornell Graduate School Dean's Scholar.
